Summary:
I have over 15 years’ experience in the professional Information Technology (IT) services field with extensive experience in concept design, architecture, and delivery of web-based (SharePoint) and client applications. I'm a technical problem solver and wear many hats I can adapt readily to new environments, assess business procedures, and recommends / implements technical and operational improvements.
I have both operational management experience and “hands-on” technical experience in both Global and small businesses. My experience spans across the Microsoft stack of products in an “Infrastructure” role.
Keys Products include Microsoft AD, Exchange, SCOM, DPM, Cisco (networking), ForeFront Virtual Technologies (VMWare ESX and Hyper-V), SQL Server, Load balancing, and SharePoint (my true passion).

Who am I:
I'm a SharePoint Architect who has been around the block; I've been working with SharePoint prior to the release of SharePoint Portal Server 2001. I'm a geek; I love what I do and I’m very successful in my field. I recently published my 1st book and am working on my second book with Sybex. On a personal note - I had brain surgery on 01.17.10 for an almost always fatal neurological disorder. I’ve made a full recovery and am a stronger and more positive person because amazing recovery. Thanks to the people who were pulling and praying for me.
Community:
I’ve made some amazing friends being involved in the SharePoint community. In 06.09 I ran SharePoint Saturday Chicago, in 11.09 I ran The SharePoint 2010 Road Show. I’m planning 2 SharePoint Saturday Chicago events in 2010 as well as another SharePoint Road Show. I can’t begin to tell you how much I get out of pulling events like these together. These events help people learn and grow and for the speakers; we make lifelong friendships.
